I don't know why I bother.

I only really color them in because I enjoy it.

  1. Your drawings are not to my liking generally but are oddly compelling.

I am not saying they are bad - I just prefer a different style at this stage in my own life.

You have potential. Your stuff seems Ralph Bakshi-like to me. Just my opinion. But I think your drawings need just a little more polish.

You should keep doing them and posting them. Don't just post them on your blog - post them on pinterest, youtube, and anywhere else you can find an audience.

You can make a quick and easy slideshow video at animoto.com or onetruemedia.com for free.

Every time you do a handful of drawings you like, post a slideshow. Who knows where it could lead.

Look online for other stuff you like and see what they are doing. Practice and improve. Never give up.

There are tons of free videos on youtube regarding how to draw and color more professionally. Check them out.

Also, there are lots of free software packages to be had (legally) that will allow you to do everything from photoshop-style editing to actual animation of your drawings. do a search on Google for "free animation program" or "free painting program" and you will find something.

You could easily take your images into the digital realm if you want and mess with all kinds of coloring effects and techniques without spending a dime on software.

You only fail if you quit.

    Good luck!
